Xeomin® is a cosmetic injectable that combats moderate lines and wrinkles that naturally appear over the course of a lifetime.
Similar to Botox, Xeomin offers aesthetic facial smoothing which improves an aging face’s features. Over time, skin loses its elasticity, and frequent facial contractions result in unwanted skin rippling or wrinkling. Xeomin® acts on the face’s nerve-endings and prevent the muscle fibers from contracting.
Some patients say Xeomin gives them a more natural look compared to Botox, as it gives the face a less “frozen” appearance. ReNu believes both treatments are effective, however, and recommends patients speak with a practitioner to determine which option is best for them.
